The new Marriott's Grand Residence Club is the
best place to stay in Tahoe. With it's own beach,
lift to the top of the Heavenly slopes, and
adjacent to the c a s i n o s, shopping, shows
and restaurants - you don't even need a car any
more. http://www.acsrentals.com/tahoe.htm
Here is some more info. For us it was what we had
been looking for - for a long time - an upscale
place where one does not have to drive to the ski
hill; and its just: walk to Harah's and Harvey's
arcades, restaurants or shops - all adjacent with
no streets to cross; our own private sun deck,
large square footage, and possible room service.
We tried the lakefront and Keys homes, tried
cabins, hotels, motels.....etc. Anyway, here's
the lowdown:
1.) At the new Heavenly gondola - access to one
of the largest ski/snowboard resorts in the
country
2.) Next to clubs and arcades
3.) Restaurants and shops etc. will be downstairs
near the lobby
4.) 3000 square feet!

2 day beds)
9.) Ice rink and cinema will be completed in
2003
10.)Fitness room and on-site spa/massage facility
etc.
11.Very upscale finish and decor
12.)2-story unit, top floor (6th) has sun deck,
